Scott Cagno grew up in a solid Christian family of five boys. He has been a follower of Jesus Christ since he was a young boy. Scott is married to the beautiful and talented Connie, and they have two sons, Scott and Mike, and a sweet daughter-in-law, Kayla. Scott is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and continues to learn how to walk in obedience as a child of the King. Scott and his family are faithful attenders at Burning Hearts Community Church. On a nice day, he enjoys going on a motorcycle ride with friends and family.

Before moving to Lancaster in 1997, Stabe and his wife Marg lived in Rochester, New York for 37 years, where he was a high school teacher for 32 years. Stabe and Marg have been married since 1960. They have been blessed with three children and thirteen grandchildren. Stabe and his wife have been able to do some travel in their retirement years. Stabe has also enjoyed working 'one-on-one' with people. His reading consists mostly of history and apologetics (defending the truth of God's Word). The Hackenberry family has been very active in Camp Susque, a Christian camp located north of Williamsport, Pa.

Carl was among the first to promote the idea of seeing Burning Hearts Community Church get started. He is active as a deacon within the church and in seeing people's financial needs be met in a good and godly manner. Carl is also a strong promoter of seeing church members be active in visiting the sick, the very thing that the Bible encourages.

Jack is a retired Kentuckian who has worked in Pennsylvania since 1974 and is married to Ginny Francis since 1963. He graduated from the University of Kentucky (1965) and Florida Institute of Technology (1973). Jack has various interests including Bible, family geneaology, photography, Corvettes, trains and travel. Jack's knowledge of financial methods has been learned by observing accounting professionals.

Dick Cagno - Sunday School Class Coordinator

Dick Cagno was a former Executive Director of the Pennsylvania State Sunday School Association and has spent over 45 years involved in Christian Education as well as public education. Over the years, Dick has been an elementary teacher, an adult Sunday school teacher, a writer and producer of both Christian and Educational Television for children. He has founded several children's ministries, developed literacy and GED inter-city projects. Along with his wife Jan and their 5 sons, Dick has served as children evangelists for many years. Today, Cagno family is active in several different ministries at Burning Hearts Community Church.

Deanna Weaver - Infant/Nursery Coordinator

Prior to nursery coordination, Deanna attended a church in Lititz, Pa, where she served in the infant/toddler nursery for six years. Through that experience, she has learned to plan activities, and insure a safe and sanitary environment, while showing Jesus' love to the precious little ones. Deanna is overjoyed to serve and to be able to share the love of our Lord with these little ones. Since childhood, she has been involved in Sunday school, church time and youth group, while spending the summers helping with Vacation Bible School. After receiving her degree in Social Work, Deanna worked with a therapeutic support staff for children and was a protective worker for children's services. Currently she is a children’s mental health services coordinator in Lancaster County.
Deanna and her husband Curtis have been active in Infant/Nursery Ministry as a couple since their marriage in 2007. They currently reside in Hempfield Township.

Mark Cagno - TUMS Youth Ministry Coordinator

Mark Cagno grew up in a solid Christian home where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 7, and has been involved in youth ministry most of his life. After marrying his beautiful and creative wife Doreen, they started working with the youth at the church they were attending in Harrisburg. While leading the youth ministry as volunteer youth director for a couple of years, Mark felt he was to be a youth pastor and moved his family to Lancaster County to attend Lancaster Bible College. The Lord's plan was for Mark to resign as a youth director, and go to work as a volunteer youth worker at a local church in Lititz, which resulted in Mark starting up a Bible Quiz program in 1995. Mark has a profound passion to help young people understand the need to be in God's Word and learn from it. Mark has stated that he is "so thankful for Burning Hearts Community Church, because of the great opportunity it presents to start fresh with developing a youth ministry that focuses completely around God's Word and keeps it foremost in the ministry."
Mark and Doreen have been married since 1985. They have three wonderful sons whose names are, Joshua, Caleb and Seth.

Steve and Renée Hoey - "EKG" Young Adults Facilitators

Steve and Renée Hoey grew up in the Washington DC area where they met in High School and have been married since 1987. They have two grown children and two grandchildren with one on the way. Prior to moving to Lancaster, Pa, they were in full-time ministry with Central Union Mission, where they directed the Camp Bennett summer camp program and a year-round men’s Discipleship ministry. Other ministries have included, crisis marriage mentoring, teaching and drama. Steve’s hobbies include pretty much anything outdoors, while Renée’s interests include scrapbooking, photography and a good cup of coffee. Steve and Renée are a devoted and dedicated couple who enjoy spending time with each other, their family, friends and their church family. Together, they co-facilitate the EKG Young Adults group and are involved in men’s and women’s ministries at Burning Hearts Community Church.

Daniel and Alicia Deleon - EKG Young Adults Facilitators

Daniel and Alicia DeLeon are EKG Young Adults Co-Facilitators. Daniel is currently attending Lancaster Bible College majoring in Pastoral Ministry, in the pre-seminary department. He is very passionate about studying, discussing, and living out theology and philosophy. Daniel also teaches one of the Adult Sunday School classes at Burning Hearts. He enjoys the game of football and is a huge fan of the Detroit Lions and the Notre Dame.
Alicia has a creative spirit, and loves to utilize many of her gifts. Whether it is a new recipe or a new promotion for their business, Alicia is always brainstorming. She enjoys the company of her husband, step daughter, Sabrina, family, and friends. Daniel and Alicia cherish spending quality time with each other having deep discussions, taking long walks in the woods, and watching thought provoking movies together. They were married in 2010. Daniel and Alicia say, “We love to spent time with the body of Christ, our kinsmen.” They reside in the Millersville area.

Ministry to men is kind of a passion for Steve. He is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and has been involved in mens ministries for nearly 20 years. Through the ups and downs of his own life, he has learned many valuable lessons which gives him a real heart for issues that men face. Steve loves the outdoors and desires to challenge men using this as a medium in their lives. Steve has been married to his bride, Renee, since 1987 and has two wonderful children who are both happily married and have kids of their own. "It is all about pointing men to Jesus which makes us better husbands, fathers, workers and leaders."
