BRAVE HEARTS
MEN'S FELLOWSHIP
Brave Hearts Men's Fellowship is a ministry for men and by men. We exist to encourage, teach and support each other in order that we may be Godly examples in our home, work, church and social lives. We meet bi-monthly at 7:00am for breakfast and devotions at Oregon Dairy, then have a short time of practical teaching in an area of interest to men. We are usually finished by 10 or 10:30 am, so that there is still enough time to get your honey-do list or other projects done. Below is our schedule for 2012:
February 18 Basic household electrical
April 21 Fishing instruction and improvment
June 16 Patio installation/basics of concrete work
August 18 Antique and furniture restoration
October 20 Undetermined
December 15 Undetermined
If anyone has a skill or area of interest that you would like to teach other men so that we will be equipped more completely to accomplish every good work, please contact Steve Hoey at 717-799-8041 to get on the schedule. We have already had classes on wood carving basics and preparing your small engines for winter.
Within the Brave Hearts Men's Fellowship we are seeking to develop a group of men who will commit to become Burning Hearts Fire Jumpers. This group is an on call emergency /crisis response team, focusing primarily on meeting the physical needs of those within our church family. If you would have an interest in being a part of this type of group, please notify Pastor Doug Winne, Bob Landis or Steve Hoey. More info will be forthcoming in the Heart Beat.
