Burning Hearts was birthed out of prayer: people coming together and praying whether or not a church should be formed. From its inception, the Wednesday night, 7 pm prayer time has been a central ministry of the church. Currently 8-12 adults generally come out each week with the specific intent of "lifting up" the needs of the congregation and our world before God's throne. This time generally includes a brief Bible study that serves as a springboard into prayer. The meeting runs until 8:30 though many often linger a bit later. Prayer meeting (as it is called) is also a great place to meet some new friends while truly gaining a pulse of the congregation's spiritual life.
